Michael Toschi is one of the shoe industry's most creative and prolific designers. Before his latest venture with LUV Footwear, Michael was, and still is, the creative force behind Michael Toschi International, a premier brand of luxury men's footwear, accessories and fine leather goods entirely handcrafted in Italy. Michael Toschi designs are sold in many of the world's top boutiques and worn by the most discriminating customers, among them professional athletes and A-list celebrities including Tom Cruise, Clint Eastwood, Michael Jordan, Jay Leno and Joe Montana. His products also have been featured in leading publications such as Men's Health, Robb Report, Travel + Leisure, Automobile Magazine, MR and Footwear News.
Designing footwear has been a lifelong passion for Michael, who began studying and honing his craft at the young age of 15. He founded NewLink, a design consulting firm, in 1987, and quickly became a sought-after talent, tapped to create product for a long list of prestigious brands including Nike, Adidas, Ugg, Avia, Esprit, Rockport and Banana Republic. He was an integral part of Reebok's Advanced Concepts Team during the development of the brand's iconic Pump technology.
A San Francisco Bay Area native, Michael loves to share his passion for cooking, cycling, music, and family.  He gives back in the Bay Area community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Greater Bay Area chapter.  Thanks to a close relationship with his young daughter, Michael keeps a pulse on youth culture that continues to inspire his direction of both LUV footwear and Michael Toschi International.
Someone once asked me, "What will you do when you run out of ideas?" I won't. Inspiration is all around and through LUV we aim to share that notion.
